Recreation Receptionist

About the role

InterContinental Abu Dhabi is seeking a friendly and service‑driven Recreation Receptionist to be the first point of contact for guests using the hotel’s recreation facilities. The role combines front‑desk duties with guest‑service responsibilities, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for both members and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests and members, creating a positive first impression.
• Provide accurate information on recreation facilities, operating hours, activities and hotel services.
• Handle enquiries in person and by telephone, managing reservations and bookings for facilities and activities.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records of guest access, bookings and payments in line with hotel procedures.
• Assist guests with registration, explain guidelines and respond to feedback or concerns.
• Coordinate with Lifeguards, Housekeeping, Engineering, Security, Front Office and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
• Uphold health, safety, security and confidentiality standards at all times.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a receptionist, guest service or similar hospitality role.
• Familiarity with hotel or resort environments and recreation services.
• Strong communication skills and a professional, courteous demeanor.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
