Registered Midwife – Clinical Excellence in Dubai

About the role

The Royal Hospital Dubai Investment Park is seeking a Registered Midwife to deliver safe, compassionate, and evidence‑based care to women and newborns across the antenatal, intrapartum, postnatal and newborn periods.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to mothers and newborns in various practice settings, adhering to regulator scope of practice.
• Manage spontaneous vaginal deliveries, assist with instrumental deliveries and both emergent and elective caesarean sections.
• Perform obstetric procedures such as artificial rupture of membranes (AROM) and sterile vaginal examinations.
• Monitor labour progress, conduct CTG monitoring, interpret fetal heart rates and escalate when required.
• Deliver immediate post‑delivery care for mothers (fundal massage, placental examination, blood loss assessment) and newborns (cord blood gas analysis, initial assessment, vital signs monitoring).
• Support women according to their birthing plans and uphold WHO Mother‑Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative standards.

Required profile

• Registered Midwife with current licensure and clinical privileging.
• Demonstrated competence in antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and follow NMC Nursing Strategy.
• Commitment to evidence‑based practice and continuous learning.
