Registered Nurse – Aviation & Occupational Health

About the role

The Etihad Airways Medical Centre is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide clinical support for aviation, occupational and general health services. The role involves conducting medical fitness examinations, maintaining accurate patient records, and ensuring the centre operates in compliance with UAE health and aviation regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist physicians in performing pre‑employment, initial and renewal medical examinations for flight and cabin crew, including vital signs, vision, ECG, audiogram, tympanometry, spirometry, BMI and vaccinations.
• Prepare and safeguard confidential medical records in line with GCAA, DOH, OSHAD and other regulatory requirements.
• Calibrate and maintain medical equipment, reporting any malfunction to the Nurse Manager.
• Uphold aseptic standards, maintain cleanliness of the facility and report infection‑control breaches.
• Monitor and replenish medical supplies, including emergency drugs and crash‑cart items.
• Support health‑education programs, lectures and campaigns organized by the centre.
• Document nursing competencies, develop policies and report incidents or variances.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a BSN or Diploma in Nursing.
• Minimum three years of nursing experience in a large hospital or medical centre.
• Valid UAE DOH/DHA nursing license.
• Experience in occupational or aviation nursing is an advantage.
