Registered Nurse – Urology (Outpatient)

About the role

The Outpatient Department Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care to patients attending the outpatient facility or clinic. Responsibilities include recording patient histories, performing diagnostic tests, administering medications, and developing patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑standard, evidence‑based care to outpatients while adhering to Dubai Health Authority guidelines.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care needs on an ongoing basis.
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures and operate required medical equipment.
• Provide regular, clear updates to patients, relatives and the multidisciplinary team.
• Participate in nursing audits, infection‑control initiatives and quality‑improvement projects.
• Maintain patient confidentiality, dignity and respect cultural and religious preferences.

Required profile

• UAE Medical Health Authority (DHA) nursing license.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Minimum two years of experience in a hospital or similar setting.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, especially MS Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
