Regulatory Compliance Specialist

About the role

PACT Employment is recruiting a Regulatory Compliance Specialist in Dubai. The role covers regulatory reporting, monitoring and guidance on CBUAE requirements, working closely with business teams and other functions.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate CBUAE regulatory reports, submissions and information requests and ensure they are completed on time.
• Review CBUAE regulations and circulars, identify applicable requirements and give compliance guidance to business teams.
• Maintain regulatory obligations registers, review internal policies and controls, spot compliance gaps and monitor corrective actions.
• Monitor new regulatory requirements, assess their impact and coordinate implementation with relevant departments.
• Monitor compliance with CBUAE Consumer Protection requirements, review customer communications, fees, terms and conditions and identify potential customer risks.
• Work with Compliance, Risk, Legal, Operations, Finance and Technology teams so that regulatory requirements are addressed.
• Maintain compliance records, track deadlines and outstanding issues, and report significant matters to the Senior Compliance Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, Law, Compliance or a related field.
• Professional certification such as ICA (International Compliance Association) or equivalent is an advantage.
• Preferably 4-5 years of hands-on experience in regulatory compliance, regulatory reporting, regulatory change, compliance advisory or consumer protection within the UAE financial services sector, ideally at a bank, payment service provider, FinTech, exchange house or other CBUAE-regulated entity.
• Strong practical CBUAE regulatory knowledge and the ability to independently manage assigned workstreams; the role does not require independent ownership of all regulatory engagements or formal sign-off authority.
