Regulatory Pharmacist

About the role

The Regulatory Pharmacist ensures that all pharmaceutical products comply with local health authority regulations and facilitates smooth shipment clearance. This role bridges pharmacy expertise with logistics and regulatory affairs, representing the company before multiple government agencies.

Key responsibilities

• Obtain regulatory approvals and permits required for shipment clearance.
• Manage custody transfer and maintain inventory of products pending FANR approval.
• Classify and register products when necessary.
• Control regulatory documentation and ensure its accuracy.
• Conduct routine warehouse inspections according to established protocols.
• Reconcile logistics credit‑card payments.
• Renew licenses and drug‑store registrations, ensuring compliance with Ministry of Health/DOH standards and supporting physical inspections.
• Attest import invoices with MOFAIC.
• Provide backup support to teammates as needed.
• Represent the company before authorities such as MOHAP, DOH, FANR, Dubai Municipality, TDRA, MOIAT, and DCD.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).
• Valid MOH or DOH pharmacist license.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in regulatory or logistics functions.
• Knowledge of customs clearance procedures.
• Familiarity with freight forwarding processes.
