Reliability Engineer – CCRI Team (Habshan 5)

About the role

The Reliability Engineer will provide technical expertise to improve asset reliability and shift maintenance from reactive to proactive. The role supports both brown‑field and green‑field projects, focusing on equipment performance and condition monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), Asset Performance Management (APM) and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) studies.
• Develop and apply maintenance strategies to minimise failure impact.
• Lead and participate in brown‑field/green‑field engineering activities to enhance reliability and optimise maintenance costs.
• Identify equipment issues early using predictive tools and reliability methods.
• Maintain failure factor listings and reporting.
• Provide technical advice for equipment upgrades, refurbishments, and new installations.
• Review project packages, recommend equipment selection, redundancy, and address obsolescence.
• Suggest modifications or replacements to resolve technical problems.
• Assist operational sites in developing monitoring techniques reflecting real equipment conditions.
• Lead reliability engineering schemes across mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
• Professional certifications as applicable.
