Resident Engineer

About the role

Kling Consult International is seeking an experienced Resident Engineer to lead on‑site construction activities for large‑scale residential projects in Dubai. This full‑time, six‑day‑a‑week position requires a senior civil engineering professional who can ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day construction operations, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications and local safety regulations.
• Serve as the primary liaison between the construction team, subcontractors, clients and other stakeholders.
• Lead engineers, inspectors and site personnel, supervising contractors to meet project and authority requirements.
• Coordinate with HSE and QA/QC managers to monitor safety and quality, resolving any deficiencies promptly.
• Work with planning and risk teams to develop and maintain project schedules, and with commercial teams to control costs, approve invoices and change orders.
• Prepare detailed daily logs, progress reports and other documentation, and conduct regular site inspections to enforce compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field; Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in construction, engineering and management of large residential projects.
• Strong leadership, proactive attitude and sound judgment.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical problem‑solving skills.
