Restaurant Hostess (Greek & Russian speaker)

About the role

One&Only Resorts is seeking a friendly and professional Restaurant Hostess for Zest Restaurant at One&Only The Palm in Dubai. The role involves creating a warm welcome for guests, managing reservations and seating, and supporting the dining team to ensure a seamless experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive.
• Manage reservations, walk‑ins and waiting lists efficiently.
• Escort guests to their tables and present menus.
• Coordinate seating to optimise table turnover and service flow.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date reservations system and keep the hostess stand tidy.
• Communicate guest preferences and special requests to service and kitchen teams.
• Answer telephone inquiries about reservations and restaurant policies.
• Support the service team during peak periods.
• Handle guest complaints professionally, escalating when necessary.

Required profile

• Fluent in Greek and Russian (spoken and written).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, upscale hospitality environment.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
