Retail Performance and Operations Specialist

About the role

The Retail Performance & Operations Specialist ensures seamless coordination between Sephora stores and key departments by delivering accurate performance reporting, clear communication, and timely follow‑up on retail initiatives and launches. This role supports stores in aligning with the latest guidelines and business requirements to drive consistent execution across the retail network.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and share timely retail KPI reports, including store scorecards, Click & Collect, Service, Love Meter and monthly achievements.
• Analyse performance data, identify trends, gaps and opportunities, and provide actionable insights to Retail Directors and store teams.
• Support Retail Directors in budgeting processes, including commercial, Ramadan and monthly targets, and ensure accurate commission calculations.
• Lead the preparation and coordination of weekly, monthly and quarterly retail meetings, consolidating content and performance analysis.
• Own retail communications, maintain a central channel and manage urgent updates via WhatsApp group.
• Act as Novelties Champion, cascade launch information to stores and monitor execution against launch plans.
• Maintain the Store Database platform, ensuring all store information is up‑to‑date and reliable.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in retail operations, commercial coordination or business analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Finance, Data Analytics or a related field.
• Strong analytical and financial acumen with ability to interpret retail KPIs and translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills to prepare clear retail communications and ensure effective information flow.
• Proven stakeholder management experience working cross‑functionally with Retail, Finance and other departments.
• High attention to detail, strong commitment to data accuracy and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint for creating presentations and dashboards.
