Sales Assistant - Retail

About the role

The Sales Assistant is a frontline retail role at Ted Baker in Dubai, pivotal in driving store performance through proactive sales generation and a welcoming atmosphere for all customers. The position supports daily operations, keeps the store clean and visually appealing, and delivers exceptional customer service. Success is measured by customer satisfaction, store standards and sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Create a positive first impression with an energetic attitude and adherence to the dress code, greet customers warmly on entry, give current product information, thank them sincerely on exit and invite them back.
• Maintain a clean and organized store, provide quality service in the fitting rooms, follow up with customers promptly, keep the cash wrap clean and try to add on to the sale.
• Serve efficiently at the cash wrap, offer gift cards, capture customer information in the database and generate sales through effective engagement and product knowledge.
• Meet or exceed sales goals set by store management while keeping customers satisfied.

Required profile

• High school degree.
• 1-2 years of experience in retail sales.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for a minimum of 8 hours.
