Safety Manager – Autonomous Vehicles

About the role

The Safety Manager will be the custodian of safety for Moove’s autonomous vehicle operations in Dubai. Reporting to the General Manager, you will ensure that risks are transparent, understood and mitigated across all sites, supporting the company’s ambitious autonomous mobility market. The role requires 24/7 availability to respond rapidly to incidents and operational scenarios.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse safety performance indicators, trends and anomalies to validate the safety case and trigger risk mitigation actions.
• Conduct readiness assessments and evaluate site and fleet performance to ensure operational deployment.
• Drive predictive maintenance, manage upgrades and enforce compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Produce timely safety reports and KPI dashboards for stakeholders.
• Lead site safety programmes, including weekly safety stand‑downs and safety concern reporting.
• Investigate incidents, remediate non‑conformities identified through audits or reviews, and manage vendor safety compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in safety management within autonomous or high‑risk transportation environments.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret safety data and drive preventive actions.
• Ability to work under pressure in a 24/7 operational setting and coordinate cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills for reporting to senior leadership and external regulators.
