Safety Officer – Construction

About the role

Strong Walls Construction LLC is looking for a Safety Officer to join its Dubai construction team. The role involves overseeing daily site safety activities, promoting a zero‑accident culture and ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental (HSE) regulations across all projects.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily site activities and verify compliance with HSE requirements.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, identify hazards and enforce proper use of PPE.
• Deliver toolbox talks, safety inductions and ongoing safety training.
• Prepare safety reports, maintain HSE documentation and support risk‑assessment processes.
• Assist in reviewing method statements and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near‑misses and report findings.
• Coordinate safety matters with engineers, supervisors, subcontractors and workers.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering or related field.
• NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent HSE certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years experience on UAE construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety practices and local HSE regulations.
• Excellent communication, observation and reporting abilities.
