Sales Manager

About the role

The Sales Manager will lead the sales function for Sound Star Events, overseeing the full sales funnel from prospecting to signed contracts. Based in Al Khatim, Abu Dhabi, the role involves extensive client travel across the UAE to build and maintain relationships with key buyers in hospitality, corporate, and government sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Own the sales pipeline and report weekly to the CEO.
• Manage top‑tier accounts and pursue new business opportunities.
• Coach Account Executives on quoting, negotiation, and follow‑up.
• Set quote standards and ensure all quotes are delivered within 48 hours of brief.
• Maintain the CRM as the system of record for opportunities and accounts.
• Coordinate with Marketing on case studies, content, and trade events.
• Work with the COO and department heads to ensure quoting accuracy and feasibility.
• Develop relationships with UAE hotel banquet teams, corporate event managers, agencies, and government event offices.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in AVL/events sales or account management, preferably in the UAE.
• Proven track record of closing six‑ and seven‑figure accounts.
• Strong technical literacy to discuss solutions with producers or technical directors.
• CRM‑disciplined experience (Salesforce, HubSpot, or rental‑software CRM modules).
• Established network in UAE corporate, hospitality, and government event ecosystems (preferred).
• Arabic language skills are an advantage.
