Sales Promoter

About the role

A Sales Promoter is sought to drive brand awareness and sales growth across retail outlets in the United Arab Emirates. The role combines promotional marketing with training and development, working with sales associates and visual merchandisers to deliver an excellent customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement promotional marketing campaigns to boost sales
• Train, coach and mentor sales associates on product knowledge and sales techniques
• Coordinate and deliver sales training workshops and on-the-job development sessions
• Work with visual merchandisers to design and maintain engaging in-store displays
• Create promotional materials and presentations using graphic design tools
• Monitor performance metrics and report regularly on sales and campaign effectiveness
• Help set up computer hardware and troubleshoot basics for promotional events
• Motivate the sales team to meet individual and team targets

Required profile

• 1-3 years of experience in promotional marketing or sales promotion roles
• Proven expertise in sales and promotional marketing strategies
• Experience designing and delivering sales training programs
• Strong coaching, motivational and training coordination skills
• Excellent reporting and performance evaluation abilities
• Preferred: visual merchandising or retail design experience, prior training and development role, coaching certification (e.g. CPTM, ATD), familiarity with the UAE retail market, and additional languages such as Arabic, Hindi or Urdu

Required skills

• Graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator
• Familiarity with computer hardware setup and basic troubleshooting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
