About the role
We are seeking a friendly and efficient receptionist to be the first point of contact for clients at our modern salon. The role involves managing appointments, handling inquiries, and supporting a smooth front‑desk operation to enhance the overall client experience.
Key responsibilities
- Greet and welcome clients warmly upon arrival.
- Schedule, confirm, and modify appointments via phone, email, and in‑person.
- Answer client questions about services, pricing, and promotions.
- Maintain a clean, organized reception area.
- Process cash and card payments and keep accurate transaction records.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies.
- Support marketing initiatives and client‑retention activities.
Required profile
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in customer service, preferably in a salon or hospitality setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong multitasking and time‑management skills.
- Professional appearance and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
Required skills
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Familiarity with appointment management software.
