School Operations Manager

About the role

The School Operations Manager will lead all non‑educational functions that keep the school running smoothly. Reporting to the Principal/CEO, you will ensure the building, facilities and support services meet the highest standards of safety, efficiency and stakeholder satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee development, maintenance, safety, security and cleanliness of the school premises and grounds.
• Organise and deliver administration and support services, managing staff deployment and assisting with recruitment of high‑quality personnel.
• Provide strategic advice to senior leadership on business, financial and operational matters and monitor performance through robust management systems.
• Ensure continuous professional development and training for all staff to support school achievement.
• Support the Principal/CEO in achieving strategic objectives by leading specific business improvement initiatives.
• Drive environmental sustainability targets across the campus.
• Lead people‑development initiatives and manage stakeholder relationships.

Required profile

• Minimum a BA or equivalent advanced diploma/certificate in School Business Management, Facilities Management, NEBOSH or IOSH.
• At least 5 years’ experience in a senior role within a service‑oriented industry.
