Scientist & Systems Engineer – C4ISR Solutions Architect (Expat)

About the role

L3Harris Communications & Spectrum Dominance is seeking a senior Scientist & Systems Engineer to act as a C4ISR Solutions Architect in Abu Dhabi. This three‑year expatriate position involves designing and modernising network‑centric C4ISR systems, integrating AI, and driving customer adoption across the Middle East.

Key responsibilities

• Design end‑to‑end C4ISR architectures, including networks, data links, Battle Management Systems and ISR data fusion.
• Develop network‑centric communications architectures and recommend data models, standards and formats for interoperable systems.
• Integrate artificial intelligence to enhance data analysis and system capabilities.
• Lead strategy and implementation for customer adoption of modernised C4ISR solutions.
• Collaborate with end‑users, engineering disciplines, and third‑party vendors to define requirements and proposals.
• Maintain technical relationships with customers and provide ongoing support.
• Travel up to 50 % across the Middle East to support deployments and stakeholder engagement.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with extensive experience in C4ISR system design and integration.
• Proven ability to work on complex, multi‑domain projects and coordinate across sectors.
• Willingness to relocate to Abu Dhabi on a three‑year contract and travel frequently.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with customers and cross‑functional teams.
