Security Officer – Abu Dhabi

About the role

Technip Energies is seeking a Security Officer to protect its Abu Dhabi premises, employees, visitors, and assets. Reporting to the Head of Department, you will maintain a safe environment through vigilant patrols, access control, and rapid response to incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas regularly to detect suspicious activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and access points for people, vehicles, and materials.
• Check identification, verify authorizations, and control entry to restricted zones.
• Observe CCTV and security systems, reporting alarms, breaches, or unusual behavior.
• Respond calmly to incidents, emergencies, and disturbances.
• Prepare daily security logs, incident reports, and handover notes.
• Report theft, vandalism, trespassing, safety hazards, and policy violations immediately.
• Assist emergency services and follow company emergency procedures.
• Secure doors, gates, windows, and sensitive areas during and after shifts.
• Support loss‑prevention and safety compliance across the site.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in security, guarding, or a related field (preferred).
• Basic knowledge of security procedures, access control, and emergency response.
• Good communication and observation skills.
• Ability to stay alert and act responsibly under pressure.

Required skills

• Security guard license or relevant certification (where applicable).
• Experience with CCTV monitoring.
• Familiarity with access‑control systems.
• Knowledge of fire‑safety and emergency procedures.
• Basic computer skills for reporting and logging.
