Senior Accountant (CPA/ACCA) – Dubai

About the role

Al Asayel Health & Safety FZE is looking for a detail‑oriented and reliable Accountant to join its finance team in Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai. The role involves day‑to‑day accounting, VAT and regulatory compliance, and financial reporting, with opportunities for professional growth.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements, including VAT filings and JAFZA submissions.
• Handle invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable and data entry.
• Reconcile bank, customer and vendor accounts regularly, and verify transaction accuracy.
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual closing.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis for management.
• Coordinate with external auditors and help prepare for audits.
• Follow up with banks on existing and new financial matters.
• Maintain organized financial records and provide reporting support.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• CPA, ACCA or CA certification.
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT law, financial reporting and compliance.
• Proficiency in SAP Business One or similar accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and analytical skills.
• Good written and spoken English and strong communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work in a fast‑paced environment.
