Senior Aircraft Mechanic

About the role

Emirates Engineering, a GCAA‑CAR V approved aircraft maintenance facility, is seeking a Senior Mechanic to support the maintenance of Emirates (EK) and third‑party aircraft. The role involves hands‑on servicing, component replacement and coordination with licensed engineers while ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform basic servicing of EK and third‑party aircraft without supervision, following manufacturer and company procedures.
• Assist licensed engineers with component replacements and other maintenance tasks.
• Operate and inspect ground servicing equipment, reporting any deficiencies for immediate rectification.
• Communicate with flight crews regarding refuelling and routine servicing, and complete technical logs.
• Carry out transit, daily, weekly and service checks on EK aircraft.
• Maintain tools, equipment and systems (including ultra‑main) in a clean, safe work environment.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in aircraft engineering or mechanical maintenance.
• Vocational, National or Higher National Diploma (or equivalent apprenticeship) in Mechanical, Electronic, Avionics or Aeronautical Engineering.
• Completed Human Factors, GCAA Air Leg and Fuel Tank Awareness training.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in English.
• Valid Airport Driving Permit.
