About the role
Deel is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer specialized in Node.js and AWS to help power its global payroll and HR platform. You will join a fast‑growing SaaS company that serves millions of users across 150+ countries.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with Frontend Engineers, Product Teams, Designers, and QA to deliver seamless experiences.
- Participate in product planning from discovery to deployment, influencing the full software development lifecycle.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust new features and APIs.
- Continuously improve existing products and infrastructure.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs quickly at "Deel Speed".
Required profile
- Senior‑level backend engineer with proven experience building scalable services.
- Strong understanding of SaaS architectures and global compliance requirements.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.
