Senior Business Development Manager – Oil & Gas Projects

About the role

The Senior Business Development Manager will lead the growth of oil and gas project opportunities across the Middle East and Africa for a well‑established engineering and environmental solutions provider. Reporting to senior leadership, the role focuses on leveraging existing networks with operators, EPC contractors and engineering firms to secure new contracts and expand the company’s market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a business development strategy for oil & gas projects in the region.
• Identify, qualify and pursue new opportunities with major operators, EPCs, consultants and industrial contractors.
• Build and maintain senior‑level relationships with key decision‑makers across the project ecosystem.
• Track projects from concept/FEED through procurement, execution and commissioning.
• Maintain a robust pipeline of current and upcoming oil & gas developments.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of experience in business development or commercial roles within the oil & gas sector.
• Proven track record of winning large‑scale projects and managing complex stakeholder relationships.
• Strong understanding of pre‑qualification, tendering and specification processes.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills at senior level.
