Senior Construction Manager – Bridges (Railway Projects)

About the role

CSCEC Middle East is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Manager to lead the delivery of railway bridge and viaduct works in Abu Dhabi. You will be responsible for overseeing all construction activities, ensuring they meet design, safety, quality and schedule requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the construction of railway bridges, viaducts and associated structures.
• Oversee piling, foundations, piers, abutments, bearings, precast/prestressed girders, launching, deck slabs and related works.
• Develop and control construction planning, sequencing, manpower, equipment and material deployment.
• Coordinate with design, engineering, planning, QA/QC, HSE, commercial and subcontractor teams.
• Monitor progress, cost and quality, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Resolve technical issues and manage interfaces with track, stations, utilities, MEP and other railway disciplines.
• Engage with client, consultant, authorities and subcontractors to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications and railway standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 18 years of experience in major bridge/viaduct and infrastructure projects.
• Extensive experience in railway bridge construction, including foundations, piers and deck works.
• Proven leadership, planning, coordination and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience on large‑scale railway, high‑speed rail or metro projects is highly preferred.
• UAE/GCC experience is an advantage.
