Senior Construction Tech Fab

About the role

The Senior Construction Tech Fab supports a wide range of construction and fabrication activities, working with limited supervision while acting as a go‑to resource for less‑experienced colleagues. The role combines data management, material handling, and equipment lifecycle oversight to ensure project quality and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Query, clean, structure and transform engineering, procurement and construction datasets for analytics and reporting.
• Develop and manage plans for material storage, handling, transport and on‑site tagging, including bag/tag reconciliation.
• Lead preparation and delivery of loose items for offshore projects.
• Plan, coordinate and monitor the full lifecycle of equipment, including maintenance, repair, budgeting and utilization tracking.
• Establish asset lifecycle systems and recommend replacements or upgrades.
• Collaborate with Procurement to evaluate technology upgrades for efficiency, energy use and cost reduction.
• Define cost‑saving opportunities and present recommendations to management.
• Ensure compliance with asset‑related procedures and oversee quality control of in‑house repairs.

Required profile

• Graduate or diploma in Material Management.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Oil & Gas, fabrication, construction, marine or petrochemical environments.
• Familiarity with offshore and onshore engineering design and detailing tools.
• Proven ability to work independently and provide solutions for atypical situations.

Required skills

• S3D, E3D, Tekla, Spoolgen (3D design & detailing tools).
• Smartplant Review, Autodesk Forge (design review tools).
• SSRS, PowerBI, Tableau, Telerik (reporting and visualization).
• Advanced MS Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Data‑wrangling and dataset transformation.
