Senior Electrical Maintenance Technician – DGD Plant

About the role

The Senior Electrical Maintenance Technician will supervise and execute preventive, breakdown and project‑related maintenance for the Dalma Gas Development (DGD) plant and its offshore wellhead towers. The role ensures safe, reliable operation of HV/MV/LV power generation and distribution networks while supporting commissioning and start‑up activities.

Key responsibilities

• Issue and control isolation certificates and electrical work permits for HV, MV and LV systems on‑shore and offshore.
• Supervise and perform repairs on switchgear, transformers, motor control centres, UPS/DC systems and related equipment.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance according to SAP PM schedules, OEM manuals and company strategy.
• Conduct electrical testing such as insulation resistance, contact resistance, relay verification, earthing, continuity, thermography and hazardous‑area (Ex) inspections.
• Support pre‑commissioning, commissioning, energisation, FAT/SAT witnessing and hand‑over of new electrical systems.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders and equipment registers.

Required profile

• Technical Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of electrical maintenance experience in a large industrial plant, with at least 3 years on HV/MV systems and 2 years offshore.
• Proficiency in English and relevant certifications (LV/LV Electrical Authorization, CompEx or equivalent).
