Senior Engineer – Assets Reliability & Systems – Electronics

About the role

Dubai Airports is expanding its engineering services team and seeks a Senior Engineer to lead reliability and asset management for electronic low‑voltage (ELV) systems. You will own the full lifecycle of critical assets, from design through disposal, ensuring they operate safely, efficiently and with minimal downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct reliability assessments and failure analyses for ELV systems, including SCADA and BMS platforms.
• Develop and implement improvement plans that boost asset performance and reduce unplanned outages.
• Lead root‑cause investigations, recommend corrective and preventive actions, and track their implementation.
• Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to optimise maintenance strategies and asset lifecycle management.
• Monitor health and performance trends using data analysis and reliability tools.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives to maintain safe and reliable airport operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5–7 years of experience in reliability, maintenance or asset management for airport or industrial environments.
• Knowledge of criticality‑based and risk‑based maintenance approaches (e.g., FMECA, REM).
• Familiarity with Maximo CMMS from a user perspective.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Professional certifications in reliability or maintenance engineering (e.g., CMRP, CRE) are a plus.

Required skills

• SCADA and Building Management System (BMS) expertise.
• Failure Mode, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) and Reliability‑Centered Maintenance (RCM) techniques.
• Maximo CMMS usage.
• Reliability engineering principles, root‑cause analysis and condition monitoring.
• Understanding of LV/MV electrical, HVAC, instrumentation & control, and special airport systems.
