Senior Engineer – Operations Readiness & Assurance (I&C)

About the role

KBR is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead Operations Readiness and Assurance for Instrumentation & Control (I&C) on a PMC project involving gas processing. The role is based in Abu Dhabi and focuses on ensuring that plant systems are ready for safe, efficient start‑up and operation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute readiness and assurance plans for onshore and offshore gas processing facilities.
• Coordinate with EPC and detail engineering teams to verify design compliance and constructability.
• Lead commissioning activities, including testing, validation, and hand‑over to operations.
• Provide technical guidance on I&C systems, ensuring alignment with project specifications and regulatory standards.
• Document lessons learned and support continuous improvement across the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in oil & gas, with a focus on gas processing projects.
• Proven experience on ADNOC projects and PMC environments.
• At least 5 years working on onshore and offshore projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (any discipline).
