Senior Internal Auditor

About the role

The Senior Internal Auditor will join Ghobash Group in Dubai on a full‑time, on‑site basis. The role focuses on planning and executing internal audit engagements across the Group’s diverse businesses, assessing internal controls, financial processes and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, conduct and document internal audit engagements for multiple business units.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, financial reporting and compliance with policies.
• Prepare clear, comprehensive audit reports and present findings to senior management.
• Recommend practical improvements to enhance efficiency and mitigate risks.
• Follow up on remediation actions and monitor implementation progress.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support strong governance and risk management practices.

Required profile

• Strong analytical ability to interpret complex financial and operational data.
• Experience preparing and reviewing audit reports and conducting financial audits.
• Solid foundation in finance, accounting principles and internal control frameworks.
• Effective communication skills for presenting audit findings to diverse stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field; CIA, CPA or ACCA preferred.
• Relevant internal audit experience, preferably within diversified or group enterprises.
