Senior IT Engineer – Secure Engineering (Dubai)

About the role

Flowdesk is a cloud-native crypto market-making firm building critical infrastructure for digital assets. As a Senior IT Engineer you will join the Secure Engineering team to design, configure and operate identity, endpoint and SaaS platforms that power the company’s IT estate.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and maintain core platforms such as Okta, Jamf, Google Workspace and Cloudflare Zero Trust.
• Source, evaluate and procure new tooling, conducting vendor assessments and managing contracts.
• Own the full lifecycle of vendor contracts, tracking renewal dates, terms and cost optimisation.
• Serve as the primary contact for vendor account and contract matters.
• Collaborate with IT Operations to translate operational needs into system configurations.
• Lead independent projects with minimal senior‑management input while keeping stakeholders informed.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation and provide ad‑hoc support to IT Operations.

Required profile

• 7+ years of IT engineering experience, preferably in SaaS‑heavy, regulated environments.
• Proven ability to manage vendor relationships, procurement, renewals and negotiations.
• Self‑motivated, autonomous and comfortable working in a small, high‑ownership team.
• Experience in financial services, crypto or digital‑asset markets.
• Professional proficiency in English.
