Senior IT Officer – UAE National

About the role

We are seeking a Senior IT Officer (UAE National) to lead end‑user support and ensure the reliability of our IT network infrastructure at our Dubai site. The role combines hands‑on technical assistance with the management of core services, aiming to maintain optimal system performance and productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line support for hardware, software and network issues, diagnosing and resolving tickets efficiently.
• Install, configure and maintain laptops, desktops, printers and other peripherals in line with company policies.
• Administer Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, DNS and DHCP services to guarantee smooth operations.
• Monitor system and network health, perform preventive maintenance, and execute timely corrective actions.
• Document IT assets, troubleshooting steps, fixes and technical recommendations accurately.
• Escalate unresolved incidents to higher‑level teams and coordinate with vendors for resolution.
• Configure and manage backup solutions, including Synology backup systems, to ensure data protection.
• Design and improve IT service delivery processes to meet SLA requirements and business objectives.
• Collaborate with internal clients and Group IT teams to gather requirements and support infrastructure upgrades.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.
• UAE national status.
• Relevant certifications in Cisco and Microsoft are preferred.
