Senior Maintenance Management System Engineer MMS

About the role

Mott MacDonald is seeking a Senior Maintenance Management System (MMS) Engineer to lead the implementation, configuration and ongoing management of its Maintenance Management System in Dubai. The role ensures accurate asset data structuring, system integration and a smooth digital hand‑over to operations teams, supporting the full asset lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end implementation, configuration and deployment of the MMS platform.
• Develop and define asset hierarchy, taxonomy, naming conventions, tagging and coding structures.
• Create and maintain comprehensive asset registers for architectural, MEP and specialist systems.
• Validate, upload and maintain accurate asset data, including specifications, warranties, spare parts and maintenance history.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning teams to gather and verify asset information.
• Integrate MMS with Building Management Systems (BMS), SCADA and other operational platforms as required.
• Design preventive and corrective maintenance strategies and configure maintenance plans, schedules and resource requirements.
• Support reliability‑centred maintenance (RCM) analyses where applicable.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading MMS or similar asset management system implementations.
• Strong coordination skills with multidisciplinary engineering, construction and facilities teams.
• Understanding of asset lifecycle management in large‑scale projects.
