Senior Manager, eDiscovery and Forensics, Enforcement

About the role

The Senior Manager will lead Enforcement’s eDiscovery and forensic technology across both the software lifecycle and the investigation lifecycle. This role ensures that tools and processes remain fit‑for‑purpose, supports case officers throughout investigations, and acts as the primary liaison with IT and digitalisation teams.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee research, selection, implementation, maintenance and periodic review of eDiscovery and forensic software.
• Manage the investigation lifecycle, including data collection, processing, user training, cost monitoring and data archiving.
• Lead benchmarking and vendor selection initiatives, develop business cases and ensure compliance with DFSA risk, legal and data‑protection policies.
• Provide technology support to case officers, develop SOPs for data ingestion, indexing, filtering, deduplication and analytics.
• Design and deliver structured training programmes for Enforcement staff and monitor technology usage to suggest cost‑control improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing forensic and eDiscovery technology in a regulatory or enforcement environment.
• Strong understanding of data collection from physical and cloud‑based sources and forensic imaging techniques.
• Ability to develop and maintain standard operating procedures and training programmes.
• Experience liaising with IT, digitalisation teams and external technology vendors.
