Senior Manager – Housekeeping Services (General Services)

About the role

The Senior Manager – Housekeeping Services will lead and continuously improve all outsourced environmental and support services for SSMC, ensuring a five‑star healthcare hospitality environment that is safe, efficient and patient‑centred.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee outsourced services including housekeeping, laundry, portering, pest control, façade cleaning, travel services and waste management.
• Maintain luxury, five‑star standards across all facilities, ensuring superior cleanliness, presentation and ambiance.
• Develop and manage vendor partnerships, contracts, KPIs and SLAs.
• Conduct regular inspections, audits and ensure compliance with OSH, ADOSH, DOH, JCI and EAD regulations.
• Lead sustainability initiatives focused on waste reduction, resource efficiency and environmentally responsible practices.
• Utilise performance data and customer feedback to drive service improvements and rapid issue resolution.
• Support contract lifecycle activities such as tendering, evaluation and mobilisation.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance patient care and overall experience.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing outsourced environmental and support services in a healthcare or hospitality setting.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory standards (ADOSH, DOH, JCI, EAD) and OSH compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to lead vendor performance, contract compliance and service delivery outcomes.
• Track record of implementing sustainability and resource‑efficiency initiatives.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
