Senior Manager – Project Controls

About the role

Worley is seeking a Senior Manager to lead Project Controls for a major engineering and construction programme in Abu Dhabi. The role combines strategic oversight with hands‑on execution, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the baseline schedule, monitor progress and report performance against targets.
• Manage cost control processes, including earned value management, variance analysis and forecasts.
• Lead risk management activities, assess baseline changes and drive corrective actions.
• Coordinate integrated schedules across multiple contractors, utilities and feedstock interfaces.
• Provide guidance on project controls policies, procedures and best practices.
• Support contractual and commercial negotiations to protect company interests.
• Facilitate internal and external project reviews and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior project controls roles within large‑scale engineering or construction projects.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and mentor a project controls team.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with project managers, engineers and commercial teams.
