Senior Network Security Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer to join Penta Consulting’s Abu Dhabi team. The role focuses on designing, implementing and maintaining advanced Cisco‑based security solutions for enterprise customers across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Lead network and security changes while keeping technical documentation up to date.
• Deliver complex Cisco infrastructure and security projects, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SD‑WAN deployments.
• Provide on‑site and remote consultancy, troubleshooting and support for critical infrastructure.
• Translate business requirements into robust technical designs and drive remediation activities.
• Support Day‑2 operations, pre‑sales engagements and ongoing project delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in network and security engineering.
• Strong customer‑facing and consulting skills.
• CCIE Security and/or Enterprise Infrastructure certification preferred.
• Ability to work across multiple technologies and adapt to diverse customer environments.

Required skills

• Cisco Firepower, ASA, IPS, ISE.
• Secure Network Analytics (Stealthwatch).
• SD‑Access (SDA) and SD‑WAN.
• Cisco DNA Center (DNAC) for routing and switching.
• VPN, AAA, ACLs, 802.1X, QoS, Multicast.
