Senior Network Specialist

About the role

The Abu Dhabi Telemedicine Centre is seeking a Senior Network Specialist to lead the design, implementation, and operation of its enterprise network and security infrastructure. This senior‑level position combines architectural expertise with hands‑on troubleshooting across on‑premise and cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver scalable, secure network solutions for campus, branch, and cloud environments.
• Lead enterprise wireless design and operations using Aruba and Cisco platforms.
• Implement and support next‑generation firewalls, Zero Trust, secure access, DNS, WAFs, load balancers, and proxy solutions.
• Architect hybrid connectivity between on‑premises networks and Microsoft Azure, including VNets, peering, NSGs, UDRs, Azure Firewall, Application Gateway, VPN Gateway, and ExpressRoute.
• Act as Level 3 escalation point, conduct root‑cause analysis, and define preventive actions.
• Define network standards, documentation, and governance; automate operations with Python, APIs, and Ansible.
• Collaborate with security, cloud, and application teams, mentor junior engineers, and support change management, capacity planning, and hardware refreshes.

Required profile

• Advanced hands‑on experience with enterprise networking and security technologies.
• Strong expertise in Aruba wireless ecosystem (Central, CPPM) and Cisco networking.
• Proven experience designing and operating Azure networking services.
• Ability to manage high‑priority incidents and on‑call support.
• Senior‑level technical leadership and documentation skills.
