Senior Officer – Account Services (Emiratised)

About the role

Support BBG Operations and relevant stakeholders by processing day‑to‑day BBG Operations transactions while ensuring operational quality, efficiency, legal compliance and effective risk controls. The role handles onboarding, remediation and high‑volume requests for corporate and institutional banking customers in Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities

• Handle BBG Operations requests promptly, ensuring compliance with service‑level agreements and maintaining service logs and dashboards.
• Process onboarding, remediation and high‑volume bulk transactions for corporate and institutional banking customers, reviewing documents for AML, legal and credit risks.
• Manage the BBG Help Desk, respond to stakeholder queries, provide guidance and escalate issues as needed.
• Identify, escalate and support mitigation of compliance, legal, credit and operational risks while maintaining effective communication with customers.
• Contribute to process‑improvement initiatives, data‑migration and system‑integration activities to enhance operational quality and efficiency.
• Support team members through knowledge sharing, training and on‑the‑job coaching to deliver service excellence.

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum three years of banking experience, preferably in CCB, IB, Account Services or a related operations function.
• Working knowledge of core banking systems and familiarity with banking policies and procedures.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
