Senior Project Manager – Airfield Projects

About the role

AERTEC is looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead airfield projects in the United Arab Emirates. The role involves managing a multidisciplinary technical team and ensuring that design, coordination and delivery meet the highest international safety, quality and performance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate survey, design and technical management activities across civil, AGL, fuel hydrant, drainage, utilities, electrical and ICT disciplines.
• Ensure project delivery within scope, schedule, budget and quality targets.
• Conduct design progress meetings, stakeholder workshops and Value Engineering sessions.
• Manage project reporting, risk registers and phasing plans.
• Oversee compliance with ICAO Annex 14, GCAA CAR Part IX, FAA ACs and UAE regulations.
• Act as the primary point of contact between AERTEC, the client and all stakeholders.

Required profile

• Civil Engineering background preferred.
• 12+ years of professional experience, including 8+ years on airside or airport infrastructure projects.
• PMP certification.
• Strong technical and managerial leadership skills.
• Excellent English communication; Arabic is an advantage.
• Proven experience in team management, project planning and stakeholder coordination.
• Prior experience in the Middle East is highly desirable.
