Senior Yard Engineer

About the role

NMDC Energy PJSC is seeking a Senior Yard Engineer to lead fabrication and construction activities for oil & gas projects in Abu Dhabi. The role involves overseeing yard operations, ensuring compliance with standards, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors within the fabrication yard to meet project objectives.
• Oversee fabrication planning, schedule adherence, productivity targets and progress monitoring.
• Manage fabrication processes including welding, fit‑up, dimensional control, NDT, blasting, painting and material traceability.

Required profile

• Minimum 10–15 years of experience in oil & gas fabrication and construction projects.
• Relevant professional certification in fabrication, welding or construction (advantageous).
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
