Senior Project Manager

About the role

ATÖLYE is a strategic design and innovation studio working with leaders across the Middle East and Europe, covering strategy, design, architecture and technology through its practices Academy, Space and 360, held together by a Creative Hub in Dubai's Emirates Towers. As Senior Project Manager, you will own the delivery and commercial health of ATÖLYE's projects in the UAE and the wider region, build the right teams from full-time practitioners and collaborators, run project budgets, invoicing and profitability, and keep scope under control. You will be the link between clients, internal teams and Finance.

Key responsibilities

• Build project teams by matching internal team members and external collaborators to each project's scope, budget and timeline, and support collaborator selection with the People & Culture team
• Manage collaborators and new team members with clear briefs, deliverables, timelines, KPIs and task lists
• Own the project budget from proposal to close, including resourcing plans, cost tracking, forecasting, profitability and margins
• Manage the plan, deadlines, team coordination and budget, and report on status, budget, burn, profitability and risks to project leads and senior management
• Document and report scope changes, control scope creep through change requests and client sign-off
• Act as day-to-day client contact, manage expectations and communicate the roadmap, and coordinate between studio units, Finance and client teams
• Guide projects from pitch to delivery and support business development, including RFPs/RFIs/briefs, SoWs and approach and budget building

Required profile

• Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory; Arabic is preferred
• 8+ years of total professional experience, with at least 4 years in project management
• Proven experience managing project budgets, profitability and invoicing
• Track record of managing scope, change requests and client expectations
• Experience managing cross-functional and multinational teams and with C-level clients
• Experience in Digital Products, Service Design & Strategy projects and in the UAE/GCC, ideally with government or semi-government clients
