Senior Project Manager – Technology & Digital Transformation

About the role

We are partnering with a leading bank to find a Senior Project Manager who will drive large‑scale technology and digital transformation programmes. The role requires overseeing complex initiatives from inception to delivery while collaborating with business, technology, risk and vendor teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of large technology and digital transformation programmes.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks and dependencies.
• Oversee application development, integration, infrastructure and platform initiatives.
• Work closely with business, technology, risk and external vendor teams.
• Drive governance, reporting and delivery standards across multiple workstreams.
• Manage third‑party vendors and delivery partners.
• Support agile, waterfall or hybrid delivery approaches as required.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard.

Required profile

• 10+ years of overall experience with at least 8 years managing complex technology projects.
• Strong background delivering enterprise IT or digital transformation programmes.
• Experience managing software development and systems integration initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work across business, technology and external vendors.
• Experience in banking, financial services or other regulated environments is highly preferred.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, governance, risk and delivery frameworks.
