Senior QA Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to own the quality of our enterprise digital solutions. You will work closely with architects, developers and business analysts to ensure releases meet functional and non‑functional requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain test strategy, test plans and test cases for assigned projects.
• Perform manual functional, integration, regression and UAT‑support testing on web and mobile platforms.
• Design, build and maintain automated UI, API and regression test suites using Java and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Review requirements and user stories to create clear, traceable acceptance criteria and test coverage.
• Log, track and manage defects to closure, providing prioritisation and root‑cause analysis.
• Conduct API testing, data validation and cross‑browser/device testing.
• Mentor junior QA team members and review their test artifacts.
• Report quality metrics and release readiness to project stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of QA experience with hands‑on manual and automation testing.
• Strong proficiency in Java and automation frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver and REST Assured.
• Experience with API testing, SQL for data validation, and CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
• Solid understanding of SDLC/STLC, Agile delivery and version control (Git).
• Excellent analytical, documentation and communication skills.
