Senior Quality Assurance Engineer – AS9100 & Nadcap

About the role

The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer – AS9100 & Nadcap leads the planning, development, execution and continual improvement of HALCON's Aerospace Quality Management System and Nadcap accreditation programs, ensuring full compliance with industry standards and regulatory obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead implementation, certification, maintenance and improvement of the AS9100 QMS, aligning with AS9100 Rev D, ISO 9001 and customer requirements.
• Conduct gap assessments, develop roadmaps, and manage quality manuals, procedures and controlled documentation.
• Drive Nadcap accreditation projects, including checklist interpretation, self‑assessments, PRI audits and closure of findings.
• Plan and execute internal, supplier, customer, certification and Nadcap audits, and lead root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Coordinate cross‑functional implementation activities across Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain and Quality.
• Deliver AS9100 and Nadcap training, mentor quality teams and develop implementation guides.
• Support digitalisation initiatives through SAP QM and related quality management systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial or Materials Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of Quality Assurance experience in aerospace, defence, aviation or high‑precision manufacturing.
• AS9100 Lead Auditor certification and at least 5 years of hands‑on AS9100 QMS implementation.
• Proven experience leading Nadcap accreditation for aerospace special processes.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain quality manuals, SOPs, work instructions, control plans and inspection & test plans.
