Senior Sales Engineer – Pre‑sales Technical Specialist

About the role

Axon is looking for a high‑energy Senior Sales Engineer to drive pre‑sales activities for its public safety technology portfolio. The role blends technical expertise with sales acumen, supporting law‑enforcement and public‑sector customers across the Middle East.

Key responsibilities

• Master all Axon technologies and products to effectively present solutions.
• Lead business and technical presentations for CIOs, IT teams, channel partners and end‑users.
• Provide first‑level technical support throughout the pre‑sales cycle and manage customer expectations.
• Develop and nurture relationships with key partners to expand the customer base.
• Position Axon solutions against competitive offerings and represent the brand at industry events and conferences.
• Own the POC/Pilot process, coordinating logistics, tailoring tests and delivering findings.
• Improve technical documentation and capture feature requests for product teams.
• Draft Statements of Work for professional services and support sales with commercial offer documentation.

Required profile

• Willingness to travel extensively (up to 70%); fluent in English and Arabic, French a plus.
• Associate degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of customer‑facing pre‑sales or consulting experience.
• 3+ years of experience with public procurement in the Middle East.
• Proven experience selling SaaS‑based solutions.

Required skills

• SaaS and cloud computing solutions.
• Networking, routing and switching (CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+).
• Storage and virtualization technologies.
• Basic knowledge of security concepts such as IPsec and InfoSec.
• Strong technical writing for RFP/RFI responses.
