Senior Service Engineer – Server & Hardware Support

About the role

Supermicro is seeking a Senior Service Engineer to join its Global Service Team. The role is based in Dubai and involves on‑site and remote support for enterprise‑grade servers, storage and networking solutions across the Middle East.

Key responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting and repair of Supermicro servers and related systems at customer sites.
• Lead preventive‑maintenance activities and ensure compliance with SLA commitments.
• Act as the escalation point for complex technical issues and provide Level 3 support to channel partners.
• Support enterprise solutions including GPU platforms, networking equipment, firmware/BIOS updates and cable management.
• Collaborate with Technical Account Managers, Service Managers and Product Managers to develop service programs.
• Train new service engineers and customers on hardware and support procedures.
• Document fault triage, create knowledge‑base articles and contribute to training material.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience supporting complex server, storage and networking environments.
• Proven field experience with hardware repair and customer‑site service.
