About the role

AlphaMind Group is seeking a Senior Sommelier to lead the wine and beverage program at CLAP Dubai, an award‑winning restaurant, bar and lounge located in DIFC. The role focuses on delivering exceptional wine and sake experiences that complement the venue’s Japanese‑inspired cuisine and upscale atmosphere.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personalized wine and sake recommendations to guests, enhancing their dining experience.
• Develop and maintain accurate wine and sake lists, ensuring they reflect current market trends.
• Manage the wine cellar, overseeing storage conditions, stock rotation, and inventory control.
• Drive beverage sales through strategic pairing suggestions and staff training.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to create harmonious wine, sake, and food pairings.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a sommelier in luxury hospitality settings.
• Strong passion for wine and sake with extensive knowledge of international selections.
• Excellent communication skills and a polished, professional demeanor.
• Ability to mentor and develop service team members.
