Senior Sous Chef – Luxury Hotel

About the role

The Senior Sous Chef will support the restaurant operations at Four Seasons Hotel DIFC, reporting directly to the Executive Chef. This senior kitchen position ensures consistent quality, presentation, and efficiency across all food production areas.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, train, evaluate, and motivate kitchen staff while maintaining Four Seasons’ cultural and culinary standards.
• Assist in recipe planning, development, and execution to guarantee consistent taste and presentation.
• Control labor costs and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing, and inventory management.
• Ensure compliance with sanitation standards, local regulations, and Four Seasons hygiene policies.
• Monitor food shipments, enforce portion control, and maintain quality assurance throughout the kitchen.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a senior kitchen role within a luxury hotel or high‑end restaurant.
• Strong leadership and team‑building abilities.
• Excellent knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices.
• Ability to manage budgets, control costs, and optimize inventory.
