Senior Specialist Consultant – Pain Medicine

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Specialist / Consultant in Pain Medicine to join a reputed government healthcare facility in the UAE. The role focuses on assessing, diagnosing and managing acute and chronic pain to improve patients' quality of life.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and manage acute, chronic and complex pain conditions.
• Develop individualized, multidisciplinary pain management plans based on clinical needs.
• Perform appropriate interventional pain procedures in line with qualifications and clinical privileges.
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, neurologists, oncologists and other specialists.
• Educate patients and caregivers on pain management and rehabilitation.

Required profile

• Recognised medical degree with postgraduate qualifications in Pain Medicine, Anaesthesiology or related specialty.
• Senior‑level clinical experience in pain management, including interventional techniques.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication and teamwork skills.
• Qualifications such as UK CCT, American Board, Australian Board or German Board are encouraged.
