Senior Associate Biomedical Engineering

About the role

Aster DM Healthcare is hiring a Senior Associate Biomedical Engineer for its Medcare Women and Children Hospital in Dubai. The role covers preventive and corrective maintenance of biomedical and patient care equipment, troubleshooting service calls and supporting the medical equipment team.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of biomedical and patient care equipment.
• Attend daily service calls, troubleshoot breakdowns and provide technical support.
• Install, test, repair and maintain medical equipment.
• Prepare preventive maintenance schedules and keep service records.
• Monitor equipment safety alerts, recalls and compliance requirements.
• Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with suppliers for required parts.
• Prepare weekly and monthly maintenance reports.
• Support medical equipment procurement, installation, evaluation and disposal.
• Coordinate with clinical staff and train them on equipment usage and safety.
• Conduct equipment performance analysis, incident investigations and quality audits.
• Supervise and guide technical staff and take part in on-call duties.
